Godsmejudge can follow up Huntingdon Boxing Day win

2:25 – Warwick – WHITES OF COVENTRY SCRAP METAL PROCESSORS HANDICAP HURDLE (CLASS 3) (4yo+ 0-130) Good To Soft 3m1f

Alan King’s Godsmejudge makes his Handicap debut at Warwick today after routing the opposition at Huntingdon on Boxing Day by 12 lengths in his last start in Novices’s Hurdles.  Despite the margin of his win he looked to have plenty more in hand and it is perhaps surprising that he has only been given an opening rating of 120.  However, the handicapper can only judge him on the quality of the horses he beat on the day and the quality of the opposition was not the highest.  He showed that he stays really well on the evidence of his win at Huntingdon and he goes in any ground.

The going at Warwick is Good to Soft and Godsmejudge won in the going at Huntingdon on Boxing Day.  Today’s trip is well within his compass as he has won over 3 miles in a point to point and 3 miles 2 furlongs at Huntingdon. Wayne Hutchinson takes the ride today, having ridden him on Boxing Day.

Godsmejudge is the unexposed runner in the field and has a very good chance of following up today off what could prove to be a very lenient opening Handicap mark.
