Libys Dream can continue improvement at Lingfield

3:25 – Lingfield – GET YOUR BET ON AT BLUESQ.COM FILLIES´ HANDICAP (CLASS 4) (4yo+ 0-80) Standard 7f

Libys Dream runs for her new yard for the 4th time today.  The 4 year old filly ran for Michael Mullineaux 6 times and managed to win once.  Since she changed yards she has won twice from three starts both in Class 5 events at Wolverhampton.  Her last run was in a Listed race over 7 ½ furlongs at Deauville when she acquitted herself well finishing in 10th place but only 2 ¾ lengths behind the winner.

She drops back down to a more appropriate level today in a Class 4 Handicap and looks to have been well placed running against her own sex today.

She runs over 7 furlongs and has won once from two starts over the trip.  She has run once previously at Lingfield when she finished 4th over 6 furlongs last October.  She has a good overall record on the all weather winning three times from 7 runs overall.  She has won twice at Wolverhampton which is a left handed track as is Lingfield.

She runs off an Official Rating of 80 today which is 9lbs higher than her last winning mark at Wolverhampton in December.  However, she was not massively out of her depth in Listed company last time and she has shown progression on all of her runs for her new yard to date.

She is the only runner that her trainer Tom Dascombe has at Lingfield today and Richard Kingscote who has ridden her on all three starts for the yard has just the one ride.

This will be Libys Dream’s hardest handicap assignment to date with both Triple Charm and Bavarian Princess as live contenders.  It is not entirely clear where the pace in the race will come from but both Chevise and Requisite are normally up with the pace so it is hoped that they take them along at a decent gallop.  Libys Dream will probably be the first the three contenders to go for home and she is taken to hold off a late run from Triple Charm.
